Explore the role of design in both historical and contemporary contexts
Consider their responsibilities when making design decisions and taking action.
MYP design focuses on a holistic design process rather than final products and solutions.
MYP uses the design cycle as a way to structure:
Design is offered to all MYP students. It is a core subject for students through MYP 1 - 4 and for the eAssessments in MYP 5 it is an optional subject. In MYP5 the students produce an ePortfolio and product that synthesises most of the design theory that they learned in the previous 4 years.
