Individuals & Societies at our school

In the 5 years MYP Individuals & Societies curriculum, students explore various disciplines such as history, geography, economics, politics, and anthropology.

Through engaging inquiry-based learning experiences, students investigate key concepts, such as change, global interactions, time, place and space, and systems. Students develop analytical skills, and cultivate an appreciation for different cultures, societies, and historical perspectives.

The I&S curriculum encourages students to critically examine issues of global significance, fostering empathy, intercultural understanding, and responsible citizenship. By exploring diverse viewpoints, students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to navigate societal challenges and contribute positively to our community.

At ISH, we are committed to providing a dynamic and enriching learning environment where students can develop a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of individuals and societies, preparing them to become informed and engaged global citizens.
